Procedure:

\      Ajya (ghee)

\      Charu (boiled rice)

\      Doorva (a type of grass) are offered in the homa.

\      Lord Ayurdevatha, mruthyunjaya or dhanvanthari is worshiped.

Ayushya sooktha, Nakshathra manthras,

 mruthunjaya manthras,dhanvanthri manthra

are chanted during tha homa.
